Episode 154 of The Autumn Windbags!!! RJ discussed his trip to Brazil working UFC 283. Question of the day discusses the Kansas City Chiefs woman or was caught eating a baked potato she snuck into Arrowhead Stadium. So we ask the Raiders fans, Is the baked potato girl a hero or criminal? Raiders Tom Brady is still the big news as the weeks roll on. The NFL world is waiting for Tom Brady to answer multiple questions: is he going to play, will he stay at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and, if not, where are you going? Jim Gray asked Tom Brady that question on their SiriusXM podcast and Brady snapped at him. The Las Vegas Raiders make sense for Tom Brady in some ways. Josh McDaniels is Brady's former offensive coordinator. The Raiders have great pass catchers in Davante Adams, Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow, all NFL Pro Bowlers. Also, Raiders owner Mark Davis wants him. The NFL quarterback market is a big NFL story every offseason and this is first time in a decade where the raiders will be involved. The Panthers, Commanders, Texans, Saints, Falcons, Colts, Jets, Titans and Raiders all need quarterbacks. The Packers may if Aaron Rodgers leaves. The Buccaneers may if Tom Brady leaves. And the rams may if Matthew Stafford leaves. Aaron Rodgers and the Raiders has been talked about this offseason as Rodgers could reunite with Davante Adams again. Derek Carr is the best free agent quarterback available if Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers stay put or retire. An ESPN report says that Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler will aggressively tweak the roster looking for culture fits. Other NFL teams will look at Pro Bowl pass catchers Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow. In Raiders news today, the Raiders signed Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Tyler Johnson. Does this mean Tom Brady is coming to the raiders because he used to catch passes from him? Sean Payton will NOT be taking second interviews as an NFL head coach. This mean he likely won't be coach of the Denver Broncos next season but could he be the coach of the Los Angeles Chargers after next season? The Autumn Windbags deliver episode 153 a day early as RJ travels to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! Now that the NFL Super Wild Card weekend is over, the question of the day asks what's the Super Bowl matchup you are rooting for? Soto wants to see Buffalo Bills vs New York Giants. RJ wants Cincinnati Bengals vs San Francisco 49ers. Sports Illustrated published a Hondo Carpenter Raiders article on the relationship between Derek Carr and Josh McDaniels plus insight on mark Davis and Rich Bisaccia's firing. The guys discuss how the media works in articles like this. Davante Adams, Josh Jacobs and Maxx Crosby responded to Josh McDaniels' style of coaching while the rank and file of the team did not. Derek Carr has played under some tough coaches like Jon Gruden and Jack Del Rio but he did not thrive under the hard coaching of Josh McDaniels. The same ting happened when Josh McDaniels was coach of the Denver Broncos. NFL Super Wild Card weekend was great. The most entertaining game for raiders fans was watching the Los Angeles Chargers and Brandon Staley blow a 27-point lead to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The worry was that the Chargers would fire Brandon Staley and hire someone better. In Raiders news, reports have come out that Brandon Staley will remain head coach of the Chargers but fire offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi. This means that Brandon Staley will remain head coach during Sean Payton's job search and Justin Herbert's rookie contract. GREAT news for Raider Nation. Tom Brady and the Tampa Buccaneers fell to the Dallas Cowboys during wild card weekend. Tom Brady is now a free agent and is debating whether or not he plays and where he would play if so. Tom Brady going to the Raiders has been a major talking point for weeks with his connection to Josh McDaniels from their New England Patriots days. Episode 152 of The Autumn Windbags is the first one of the offseason! The question of the day is the big one of the offseason, who should quarterback the Las Vegas Raiders next season? Franchise quarterback Derek Carr is all but out the door. It seems like Tom Brady, Jimmy Garoppolo, Jarrett Stidham or a rookie will be the quarterback since Josh McDaniels needs a quarterback familiar with his system. The Tom Brady Raiders rumors are swirling. The Tom Brady Raiders news is that Albert Breer reported that the Raiders are having internal discussions about Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo. Tom Brady highlights how much Mark Davis wants to make a giant splash at quarterback. Jimmy Garoppolo seems like he would be a good fit but could end up with the New York Jets. Jarrett Stidham would be the cheapest one of the options but not a huge name and is not tested. Tom Brady Raiders seems to be what Las Vegas wants and Tom Brady Las Vegas Raiders is all the Silver and Black will be talking about until he signs. This offseason is HUGE for the Las Vegas Raiders. Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels had a disappointing first season going 6-11. Raiders general manager Dave Ziegler did not wow anyone in his first season as well. The Raiders will have a bunch of picks in the 2023 NFL Draft and a ton of cap space. Once Derek Carr is cut or traded, the Raiders should have roughly $60 million in cap space. Raiders News: Former New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton is looking for a new coaching job and the Denver Broncos asked permission to interview him. Josh McDaniels and the Las Vegas Raiders take on AFC West rivals Kansas City Chiefs and their coach Andy Reid in NFL week 18 to close out the regular season. This Raiders vs Chiefs game has all the makings of a shootout with two explosive offenses and two bad defenses. This Raiders vs Chiefs post game looks back at the teams first meeting in NFL week 5 when the Chiefs won 30-29. In that game, Patrick Mahomes threw four touchdown passes to tight end Travis Kelce in Kansas City. Josh Jacobs ran for over 150 yards and a touchdown while Davante Adams receiver over 150 yards and caught two touchdowns. With former starter Derek Carr benched, fourth year quarterback out of Auburn, Jarrett Stidham takes the reigns dished the rock to Pro Bowl pass catchers Davante Adams, Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow. NFL rushing leader Josh Jacobs did not practice this week but did play Saturday on ESPN. Raiders Pro Bowl defensive end Maxx Crosby was on his own pressure wise with Chandler Jones on injured reserve. The Chiefs boast the best scoring offense in the league behind NFL Pro Bowl quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the play calling of head coach Andy Reid. Patrick Mahomes has throw touchdown passes to 11 different pass catchers this season.

Its episode 150 for The Autumn Windbags. Happy New Year, Raider Nation! Question of the day, Where does Derek Carr get traded to, if at all? Las Vegas Raiders former starting quarterback Derek Carr is all but gone, however he does have a no trade clause in his contract. So Carr can veto any trade offer he chooses. Derek Carr is likely to pursue free agency after watching the contracts the past quarterback free agents like Kirk Cousins, Tom Brady, Philip Rivers, Nick Foles and Teddy Bridgewater received. The six landing spots that make sense for Derek Carr are the Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Falcons, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts. Former Houston Texans quarterback, current NFL Network analyst and Derek Carr's brother, David Carr ranted on the Las Vegas Raiders. David Carr said Derek Carr wants stability on ownership and coaching. Former Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham did a scrum in 2018 and compared himself to Derek Carr and said he aspires to play like Tom Brady. In Raiders news today, Davante Adams states that he still plans on playing for the Raiders even though Derek Carr won't be quarterback anymore. The Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2023 has been cut down to the semi-finalists. Two former Raiders were in the mix. Albert Lewis made it. Eric Allen did not. Top NFC team San Francisco 49ers traveled to Las Vegas to take on their former Bay Area rivals the Raiders. The big Raiders news this week was the dismissal of Raiders quarterback Derek Carr. In his place, fourth year player Jarrett Stidham makes his first start alongside NFL Pro Bowl weapons Josh Jacobs, Davante Adams, Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow. Jarrett Stidham was originally drafted by the New England Patriots when Josh McDaniels was the offensive coordinator so he is familiar with McDaniels' system. San Francisco 49ers boast the best defense in the NFL with guided by NFL Pro Bowl end Nick Bosa. The 49ers also start a back up quarterback in Brock Purdy with Jimmy Garoppolo injured. The 49ers have plenty of offensive weapons as well with Christian McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle and full back Kyle Juszczyk.
